*NOTE: These experimental images are free to download, enjoy!*
You might have seen me wandering around the track last Saturday with what appeared to be a very tiny camera (it actually was a tiny camera, but that's not the point...). This was some experimental photography I was doing with a camera I had converted to shoot Infrared images. Because it's a new style of photography due to the dramatic color shifts, I'm still getting my "sea legs" when it comes to editing them.
Thus, here are some images I wanted to show you. They're available for free download for use on Social Media or, if you really want to, to print them. Just be aware that because of the coloration issues, photo printing places locally might have trouble printing them correctly.
I'm hoping to do some additional infrared imagery at future events, but probably more along the lines of of pit pictures or turning them into Black & White images (infrared makes for fantastic B&W images...I just am not comfortable with the editing process yet).
Finally, a big thanks to Matthew Gitlin and friends who were my human image test subjects. Thank you for being a great sport.
